hey today is day 46 and I feel like somewhere I can hear Bon Jovi singing livin on a prayer why cuz we're halfway there that's right we're halfway through this 92 day reading plan I'm excited for you if you've been following through from the beginning great job or maybe today's your first day guess what we still have half the Book of Psalms together and I know it's gonna be impacting I know it has been on my life to consistently work your way through this incredible part of the Bible so let's do this thing together today was some 79 and I want to be really honest with you I read it through from beginning to end I got to the end and I thought I can't get anything out of this you ever had that happen to you you're reading the Bible you're like there's nothing here for me I've had that in the Bible I've also had that in life when I'm in a season and I have come to the conclusion there's just nothing in this season for me I can't learn anything here I can't get anything out of this I mean the psalmist seems to just be sort of angry and frustrated with his life I've felt that way before but look at verse 13 he says then we are people the Sheep of your pasture will praise you forever from generation to generation we will proclaim your praise I suppose the conclusion I came to today in this passage of Scripture and definitely the conclusion I've come to in strange frustrating or confusing seasons in my life is that I'm like a sheep and God's a shepherd I can't get myself through and navigate and protect and guide but God can he's my shepherd God has vision for my life God's a protector God's a provider God's a great leader and so maybe in the season you're in or in the section of scripture you're in if nothing else come to that conclusion today that that God is leading you he's leading you kindly he's leading you lovingly he'll never leave you and he'll never forsake you so like sheep with him as our Shepherd we can get through this
