good afternoon I hope all doing well Tuesday afternoon just started a primary for me I don't know where you're at but I hope that you're having a good day regardless i actually took a vacation day today I didn't have the time to do so I at work so I thought it was safe to do that I don't pick a full days off very often but I did today oh I've also been kind of busy lately and I've really been wanting to get back to these live streams last time i did was on friday and i was gone all day on Saturdays and a lot of having the car was pretty tired so it wasn't really in the right state to sorry just some other you don't catch out look all that great I just want to make sure everything's gonna be okay before I got started so just give me a couple seconds to make sure your videos on me taking ahead of my time off today and i'm going to go through the next chapter of romans which takes us through the one tonight um sorry I probably actually sorry I don't mind me uh just trying to make sure everything is good to go here I'm just have a problem regardless sorry about all that um so I'm back and then go through the next chapter of Romans which is Romans nice because I really want to go through Romans 11 later this week I need to get four chapters 9 and 10 before I'm able to do that all of those three chapters Romans 9 10 and 11 had to do with the Jew Gentile issue and specifically in Chapter 9 as you'll find as we go through it it's talking about the election of the Gentiles at the rejection of the Jews there most of the ones in view in this chapter and like i said as i go through it you'll see that i will definitely relate to her first but it's got to do with the kind of Teufel way of looking at Israel how they are yes the natural seed of Abraham and luella Jesus took on the seed of Abraham was it King to Jews as a Jew came as a man to redeem mankind but there's the twofold way of looking as reals first of all they are natural see working on they are brethren with Paul who's writing this epistle brethren kinsmen according to the flesh as verse 3 says but they are not and they're saving unbelief sons of God or children of God so that's kinda Teufel way of looking at it and what's really in view here is making a differentiation between the two the title that I assigned to this video is final refutation of dual covenant theology when I get to the end last few verses of this chapter I will for those of you who are unaware of what you'll covenant theology is this chapter is a complete and utter reputation on that theology so I will kind of read counted for the seed where this is a word of promise at this time will I come and Sarah shall have a son and not only this but when Rebecca also had conceived by one even by our Father Isaac for the children being not yet born either having done any good or evil that the purpose of God according to election like stand not a worse but if you have that Colin it was said unto her the elder shall natural sea of Abraham who will be the children of God but because of the rejection of the Messiah the stumbling stone the rock of offense that came to the army rejected salvation is now come unto the Gentiles so it's talking mainly about how Israel had so much potential at that time because they have been given so much my god for all of the Old Testament everything they had so much knowledge given by God they had the Covenant promises given to the forefathers which passed through the natural seed of Abraham but it didn't have faith and so that's where we get into your title of us is the dual covenant theology thing is those covenants were promised to the natural seed but it wasn't promised to the spiritual seed which is adopted by faith so hey Dan I'm welcome what a treat for two thing I friends and this is carrying the sentence of the Apostles wish that if there was a way for what Paul through his own done to save his entire Jewish brethren he wishes that he would be he could do that even if I had to sacrifice my own self for it that I could do that and all of all of my Jewish brethren could be safe but they can because it doesn't work like that because the one who offered that to them was the one that they sent to the cross the one who could redeem them through his death his burial and his resurrection had already come and they have heard so even though Paul is so grieved and so sorrowful in his heart wishing that he could somehow make amends for the wrongdoing that that his brother did to Jesus can't first Lawrence I talked about how special the Jews are and why it's almost worse maybe it just is worse that because of all of the things that they have given to them all the knowledge all of the ceremonial things that customs what they had been raised in from birth righteousness of the law shall not have circumcision be counted uncircumcision covered he counted for circumcision so he's making the disparity between the Jews and the Gentiles say you're one way because our luck ought you to be but even if they do the things that they're supposed to would it not comfort them in a spiritual capacity first 27 says and shall not uncircumcision which is by its nature if it fulfill the law judge me.who by the letter and circumcision just transgress the law so you're not better because you did that if you're doing the wrong thing it's still the wrong thing for he is not a Jew which is one outwardly neither that is circumcision which is outward in the flesh but he is a Jew which is when inwardly and the circumcision is that of a heart in the spirit and not in the letter whose praise is not of men but of that and then in Romans 3 he says what advantage done half of you or what profit is there in circumcision he's saying you just spent all this time talking about there not being an assassin for circumcision in the flesh but circumcision in the heart and how the Jews we got themselves so much better than the Gentiles because they were circumcised and they followed their law which really they weren't because if you look at the spirit of the law courses the letter of a lot of thing they were actually doing what they were supposed to so he's breaking down that barrier and saying don't think yourself better just for doing these things to be seen your mind when really you're not actually doing the right thing or are you doing the right thing for the right reason it all goes back to the heart I'm there the circumcision of the flesh not of the heart so he starts off in Romans 3 saying what advantages I have to do or what profit is there a circumcision like so if you're telling me it doesn't matter then why does it matter that I would you not me specifically but in here much every way cheaply that because I unto them were committed the Oracles of God so he's saying there's a lot of difference and there's a lot of benefit chiefly because I'm today we're committed the Oracles of God and that is exactly what Romans 9 45 were talking about who are is realized human pertains the adoption and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the law and a service of that and a promises whose are the fathers and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came so going back to Romans 3 to where it says there's a big difference you guys were given all this stuff the Oracles of God here's a commentary from gills exposition about that it says the Oracles of God by which are meant a lot of Moses and the writings of the prophets the institutions of the ceremonial law and prophecies of the Messiah and the Gospel Church authoritative and it was the privilege and profit of the Jews that they were trusted with them when other nations were not and so had the advantage of them they had them for their own use we're here by they had a more clear and distinct knowledge of God then the Gentiles couldn't have had by the light of nature and beside became acquainted with the doctrines of a trinity of persons in the Godhead of the sonship and DV of the Messiah of the sacrifice satisfaction righteousness of the Redeemer and goat salvation by him and also with the manner of worshipping about according to as well all which the Gentiles were angering up moreover they had the honor of being the keepers of these sacred books these did I Oracle's and are transmitting them to posterity for the use of other so that's kind of a whole thing about the Jews as they were special they were God's people all the way back from Genesis and they were given all of this in preparation for the day that their Redeemer their Messiah would come who they rejected and so that's what Paul was talking about in he was breaking down the barrier between Jew and Gentile really was drawing a distinction about being a natural jus versus being adapted by God into the family of God spiritual circumcision versus just a physical one talking about faith versus the law big race versus work saying so in Romans to use breaking down that barrier and saying just because you think you're so special because you have this you're really not because your heart's not where it needs to be but then immediately in Rome is three he says well if there's no is there anything special being a Jew yes absolutely there it everything that God gave you up to that point so that you would recognize his Messiah why the time came and that's where Roman Father for I say unto you that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham and now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees therefore every tree which burns not bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance but he that cometh after me is mightier than I whose shoes I am not worthy to bear he shall baptize you in the Holy Ghost I with fire whose fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly purge his floor and gather his knee into the gardener but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire so John the Baptist in nephi 3 the saying exactly what Paul is in verses 6 and 7 of Romans 9 he's saying that just because they were the natural seed of Abraham god can I was on the court raised up stones like it's easy for God to do to bring more children of Abraham of the natural seed of Abraham and that goes back to the covenant promise back in Genesis where he said that the seed of Abraham what number is the stars of the sky or is the sands of the sea and be innumerable and so it's easy forgot to do that that's not what's new you hear is natural seed of Abraham there's a distinction being made and it's not that these people should think themselves safe from having to repent in order to be saved by the God that they worship it's that faith is a necessary part of the equation and that is what they're lacking and that's why I can say in verse time of Matthew three and now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees therefore every tree which brings not good fruit bread not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire he's telling the natural seed of Abraham oh well then obvious there's something bigger at play here there's something there would be no reason for him to be baptizing and telling these people to repent and believe if there wasn't a need for that and so obviously their heads and so obviously as a result here is a distinction being driving between salvation and the natural seed of Abraham so back to romans nine eight six and seven again where they are not all Israel which are of Israel neither because they are the seed of Abraham are they all children but in Isaac shall thy seed be called I'm still taking a Genesis 17 in just a second but there's a few more verses that I want to read before I do that because essentially it's going to be a replay what we see in Genesis 17 so we're back to verse 8 in Romans ayah says that is they which are children of the flesh these are not the children of God but are the children of the promise are counted for the seed so again it's a distinction they are not the children of God because they not believe his Messiah Jesus Christ the Gospel message with death burial and resurrection so their children of the flesh they're not children of the Spirit there is not that repentance there's no accepting his grace offered by their faith but they are the children of promise and counted for the seed of Abraham which again in Isaac shall thy seed be called / the Abrahamic covenant verse 9 it says where this is the word of promise at this time well I comment Sarah shall have a son so we see that i'll take you to Genesis 17 we're going to go through almost of the chapter here it says I when Abram was 90 years old and nine the Lord appeared to Abram and said unto Him I am The Almighty God walk before me and be thou perfect and I will make my covenant between me and thee and will multiply the exceedingly Negron fell on his face and not talk to him saying as for me cool my covenant is with thee and thou shalt be a father of many nations neither shall a baby anymore called Abram but I shall be Abraham for father of many nations have I made thee and I will make the exceeding fruitful and I will make nations of thee and Kings shall come out early and I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after the end their generations for an everlasting covenant to be a god unto the into i seed after thee then I will give unto the Mt thy seed after thee a land wherein thou art a stranger all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession and I will be their God and God said unto Abraham without shall keep my covenant therefore thou and thy seed after thee in their generations this is my covenant which you shall keep between me and Hugh and I see accurately every man child among you shall be circumcised and that goes back to what I was talking about in Romans to Annie shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin and it shall be a token of the Covenant betwixt me and you and he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you Irie man child in your generations he that is born in the house or bought with money of any stranger which is not a lessee he that is born in the house and he does bought with my money must needs be circumcised and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant and he um verse 15 it says and God said unto Abraham as for Sarai thy wife thou shall not call her name Sarai but Sarah jean hurley feet and I will bless her and give thee a son also of her yay i will last her and she shall be a mother of nation kings of people shall be up her then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said in his heart shall a child be born unto him that is a hundred years old and shall Sarah that is 90 years old bear and Abraham said unto God oh that Ishmael might live before thee and God said Sarah thy wife will bear thee a son indeed and I shall call his name eyes which means laughter is Abraham left when he told oh my god told you would have a son by sarah and i will establish my covenant with him isaac for an everlasting covenant and with his seed after him and as for Ishmael I have heard the old I blessed him will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly twelve Prince's shall he beget and I will make him a great nation but my covenant will I establish with Isaac which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year time he left off talking with him and God went up from Abraham so that and Genesis on a team is where we have exactly what Paul is talking about in Romans 9 so going back up to verse 7 it says neither because they are obscene if Abraham are they all children again making a distinction between the spiritual and the natural seed of Abraham but an Isaac shall thy seed be called that's the natural seed that is they which are the children of the flesh these are not the children of God but the children of the promised the covenant promise just extended are said unto her the elder shall serve the younger i skipped first 11 if you're following along but I will come back to that verse 13 it says as it is written Jacob have I loved but Esau have unheated so I'll get to that in just a second but verse 11 very very important this is parenthetical most kind of i skipped it for a second it says for the children being not yet born neither having done any good or evil let the purpose of that according to election might stand not a works but of him that call it until this goes right into what I'm going to talk about in the next segment of verses um I'll serve in verse 12 verse 13 where it says as it is written Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated verse 14 says what shall we say then is there unrighteousness with God god forbid in a commentary it says the reference is not the spiritual state of each of the two brothers talking about Jacob have I love Danny saw him I hated but to the external condition of Jacob and Esau in the like manner as the Corporal birth of Isaac is the type of spiritual things all Israelites are not saved and all Edomites of horror of the line of Esau are not damned but Paul intimates that there is a difference between the sons of Abraham and Isaac so there was a difference among the posterity of Israel that's what's in view there not that one would be less than the other curse or that one would be able to obtain total salvation the other would be destitute of the opportunity to repent and be safe but he's talking about how there were in the eyes of God there was special election given based on your covenant promises in Genesis 22 seed of Abraham specifically through Isaac and when Jacob Abraham Isaac and Jacob and this is what's in view not looking at as a I hate that I love in the flesh it's jacob have i loved have I extended my covenant promises through the seed of Jacob not Esau and that's why I wanted to read a commentary there which says all Israelites are not safe coming from Jacob just like all edomites are not damn coming from eSAB but he's relating the differences and the promises given through both and obviously again before father's he mentioned here in this chapter or Abraham Isaac and Jacob Esau is not one so he's just differentiating that there are different things interview for different people groups that come all the different line and they ask where verse 11 comes in because we have to remember that when the covenant promises were extended in Genesis to Abraham no one not even Isaac who was the first of his life hit the first one whose privacy none of them were born so God is extending the special election to the Jews to seed of Abraham before even one of them existed and that's like verse 11 says for the children being not yet born neither having done any good or evil so he's not saying I gave them the special election because of what they did for me none of them existed so that wasn't even a thought God put this special covenant in place with the seed of Abraham because he was taking us of people for himself so he's saying neither having done any good or evil none of them have even been born yet so that wasn't even a consideration it wasn't a merit-based thing it was that this is what God decided to do too excited to extend covenant promises I a specific people reports the Civic purpose notwithstanding anything I have them had ever done marrying or not marrying it because none of them had been born and that wasn't again it wasn't either consideration at that time it was something that God sent in place for a purpose to a people at did not yet exist so again verse 11 from his children being not yet born you're having done any good or evil that the purpose of God according to election might stand not a works but if he might call it he decided to do this so we put his plan into motion and that's where we kind of pick up with you an idea here in verse 15 it says for he said to Moses i will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion so that so then it is not of him that Willa nor of him that runnin are glad that she with mercy this is basically saying I will do what he will do because he knows his plan in his eternal purpose and so he will set these things in motion and determine the course of events it kind of goes back to Isaiah 46 not even go there is one else I gotten there is none like me declaring the end from the beginning my counsel shall stand and I shall do all my pleasure even though people may not understand why the lies behind it was that does and so everything that he does is to serve his to satisfying his eternal plan and purpose to satisfy his will and again that's not something that we are all privy to but that's where trust comes in so we saying I did this for a reason way back when I set all of this in motion for any of them ever existed i extended these covenant promises to a people group that would exist further down the line what they didn't at that time though I had nothing to do with them and everything to do only with what I wanted to do for this person and for this people group that again was not yet but would be in the future and that is exactly what were sixteen cents so that so that it is not a him that well ignored him that right talking about individual people it's not looking at the Jews today and saying I'm going to do this based on how they are saying I'm looking at looking at the Covenant promises I made way back when when they were not even alive and that is they are part of this seed because I willed it to be that way through nothing of their own so they didn't it is just their part of a covenant people but it's a covenant of the flesh not at the spirit and again that's a distinction being made here so he's saying it's not because of anything they did or didn't you it's because they are part of the election of people i sent forth through their forefather Abraham justice team so it's not because of them not even that will ignore him that running but of God that show of mercy uh one of the things I kind of wanted to talk about you and this was just kind of a passing thought when I was going through these verses but in the old testament in the holy of holies the law was in the Ark of the Covenant covered by the mercy seat there's a very very important word picture being drawn there because then God the presence of valuers hiding on the mercy seat basically what that tells you is that mercy is above the law and that God is the one who gives forth the mercy so that's kind of word picture that's interview here too is that they follow the law because that was their end all be all but in their temple and in their tabernacle of old it was the mercy that's not above the law mercy of God here God says I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion the mercy supersedes the law which is the whole point of review covenant I'll get ended two occasions to which talks about that also when we get further down but my god is the one who grants that mercy so his privates resides on the mercy seat which sits above the law and that's something just to kind of keep in mind too so verse um here is something further about that verse where it says he will have mercy on us he will have mercy and compassion on who knows he will have compassion on it says it is proof of his benevolence than any are safe and where none have a claim we're all are justly condemned and he has a right to party whom he pleases to extend mercy and those who will choose to excite mercy on and according to the New Covenant as those who believe in the gospel message of His Son Jesus Christ the executive of a country may select any number of criminals whom he may see fit to pardon or who maybe get forgiven inconsistency with the supremacy of the laws and the welfare of the community and none has a right to complain but every good citizen should result rejoice that any may be burdened with safety so in the moral world and under the administration of its fully sovereign it should be a matter of joy that any can be pardoned and sneak and not a subjective murmuring and complained that those who shall find the user today I shall be consigned to whoa and that kind of gets into these next few verses here because the I kind of got a little frustrated because this is not an uncommon complaint but what it does demonstrate of the complainer is a complete non understanding of who the onus is on to do something it's not I'm glad to save us have mercy and whom he will keep Hardiman that will say I'm to me why does he get fined fault for who had resisted his will this is a very big misconception among some people and even uh until I started studying Exodus I questions about this too because it says a God hardened Pharaoh's heart and then God eventually winds up killing Pharaoh with the Red Sea incident then how would Pharaoh have stood a chance at all but what people don't or maybe they don't know or what they forget is that all the ten plagues I believe six or seven of them came with Pharaoh choosing to not let them go and hardening his heart gradually against them because he was angry and he kept getting angrier as all this stuff was being done to him and his people into his land he kept getting angrier and every time the anger would come he would heard of his heart even more until God finally just gave him over to it and then obviously nothing was quite come with it anyway but there was a point which that said my mercy is at an end the final place came the last of which was the killing of the first one and I fear outside just go and they get but that means you can changed his mind and came after them so it wasn't that guy just hardened Pharaoh's heart and gonna give him an opportunity off the bat it was a progression Romans one talks about this too is that people are aware of Jesus Christ in America especially you can't travel very far in the cities I not see a church the idea of religion the idea of faith the idea of Jesus is something that people are probably over exposed to and so as a result they kind of started paying it no mind but it's not something that's unknown or that people can even claim appearance up especially in this country and then Romans 1 also talks about creation how people are surrounded by creation that even if they didn't hear the gospel they declare to see the Creator in his creation what they firmly chose to reject it they chose to bring guy down their own level in making something completely that he is now to suit their own needs or to suit their own desires and continued in these lives it's in until God stops trying to call them to your items and just gave them what they wanted let him have it I mean if someone's going to continue to spit in your face and slap you here comes a point at which you told them what they need they have all of these facts to make their own decision and at some point you just leave them to it knowing that you've done what you can and that they're going to at every stage in in every situation rejecting that's what helped me with Pharaoh was that he had chance after chance after chance at least six of the time before God heard in his heart and said you're not going to do it anyway so fine I'm going to make a show of you and I'm going to prove myself sovereign over not only you but all these other gods in these idols say sir and so if he did so uh that goes back to verse 19 the absolute wrong conclusion to draw for one that can be drawn it says if without wilt say then done to me why does he at find fault for food heck resisted his will saying so God if everything goes according to God's will then why can't he save me it's like if I'm only doing what his will says that I can do then I must be okay because if he wanted me to do something different than I would be doing something different so it's not my father's guys ah no second Peter 39 says for God is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness but is long-suffering to us-ward not willing to any should perish not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance but that will only happen if a free-will choice is made by every single person and ever single situation to choose Jesus Christ as their Lord my Savior so it kind of clear at this prayer session I kind of got a little upset because I've heard people say that before and it drives me a little bit he said they're basically saying so how can you find fault with me when I'm only doing what God is willing me to do well no well plainly told God is not willing that any should perish the wages of sin is death so if he's not willing that any would remain in their sin unto death which which leads to eternal separation for him random he's willing that all should come to repentance which is changing their mind believing in Jesus Christ his death burial and his resurrection however man is given free will to use in whatever capacity for whatever decision making processes they have some will choose Jesus Christ and some will not so we saying this these people in these verses are saying so why is he gonna find fall with me when I'm only doing what his will is well know if he had his will it would be that you would choose his son and you're resisting that will and you're not doing what you're supposed to there will not be salvation for you because you are not choosing to do what God has plainly said you must do in order that he can save you verse 27 a but oh man who art thou that replies to against God shalt thou food that shelf the thing formed the creation say to him that formed it why has thou madest us will notice because you're a person made in the image of God with a free will to use to choose to do whatever you want got it make you that way he may be with a free will to choose to be that way that is perfect we are not his plan and his will are perfect our plan an hour will are not that's the ultimate arrogant thought to have is that will who are you to tell me that I'm doing something wrong you made me this way well no you made yourself that way when you choose between each other's to not do what I told you needed to do to be safe the ultimate arrogance so Oh like no like who are you imperfect Center to say that what God is is doing or saying his plan his will his perfectness Wow who are you to call it any question verse 21 says half not the powder power over the clay of the same lump to make one a vessel unto honor another unto dishonor what if god willing to show was rad and to make his power known like he did with Pharaoh endured with much long-suffering the vessels of Wrath finna to destruction just like second Peter 39 says what air what if you're allowed to exercise your free will in spite of God and then blame him how dare you for the choices that you made that didn't didn't fit in with what he said they needed to fit in to achieve a specific outcome what if he's being long-suffering anyway giving you the opportunity to change your mind and do the right thing where you continually spit in his face and spit in his face and say I don't need to i don't want you you need to save me anyway no what if that malaysia was round to make his power known to judge sin and unrighteousness like he has the capability of doing and will need to any just judge eventually do instead endured with much long-suffering the vessels of Wrath those who are not his children those who have not come doing it and because they're not he has said the wages of sin is death sin is my righteousness those people would not believe who have not been created with created by God and righteousness and that because they are the ones who chose to reject the way that he said they what they needed to do in order to be safe and how dare they throw that man oh my god he's not the one that made them in the place where it was said unto them year dat my people there shall they be called the children of the Living God and this comes from Hosea 110 works as yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as a sand of the sea which cannot be measured or number / v8 with human covenant and it shall come to pass that into place where its unto them ye are not my people there shall be said unto them you are the sons of the Living God not only children of God talking about the Gentiles here but I'm a living God in opposition to their Idol gods their lifeless deities and senseless statues a bull silver brass wood or stone they fell down to it workshop the chosen of God among the gin tiles were from all eternity predestinated to the adoption of the children and that goes back to Romans 8 15 for you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear that ye have received the spirit of adoption this blessing was provided laid up and secured for them in the covenant of grace infusions you other day of glorification but that is basically in those two verses actually yes to worship Romans 9 25 and 26 he's basically quoting the Old Testament prophets who prophesied about the time that the Gentiles would be given away to the father that it wouldn't just be for the Jews that it wouldn't just be for the natural seed of Abraham who are not by definition of only being the seed of Abraham and ears to the Covenant promised through Abraham Isaac and Jacob but they are not because they don't have a in Jesus Christ of the children they're not children of God there's a natural seed of Abraham but they are not children of that because they don't believe in Jesus Christ which is the whole point of this um and then he goes back to pulp starting in verse 27 he goes back to Israel the first the previous two versions were talking about the rafting in of the Gentiles into the Covenant upgrades the new covenant and then he goes back to talking about Israel in verse 27 says Isaias also cried concerning Israel though the number of the children of Israel ESS standard the sea a remnant she'll be safe okay so these are the verses that get into the refutation of dual covenant theology and there's really not a clearer way to say that there is that dual covenant theology is a lie then these verses but specifically first 27 Isaiah the prophet Old Testament prophet though the number of the children of Israel be as the sands of the sea a remnant shall be saved not the whole thing a remnant why because dual covenant theology is not true from wikipedia it says dual covenant we're to covenant theology is a school of thought in Christianity regarding the relevance of the Hebrew Bible which Christians call the Old Testament most Christians views most Christian views on the Old Covenant hold the Old Testament has been superseded or abrogated and replaced with the new covenant which is the only the only one the biblical covenants that remains valid today not true duo covenant theology is unique in holding that the Old Covenant or the Bible's law of Moses remains valid for Jews while the New Covenant only applies to 9news were Gentiles that is one % false in Romans 9 27 through the rest of the chapter put that thought to shame though the number of the children of Israel be as the sands of the sea a remnant she'll be safe which does not in any way support what this says about dual covenant theology that the Old Covenant or the Bible's law of Moses remains valid for the Jews it cannot save them and if it could then it wouldn't only be a remnant that would be saved with all of them but we don't we see that that is not true verse 28 says where he will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness because a short will work will the Lord make upon the earth Isaiah 10 this actually in verse 22 I'll start in verse 20 helluva antenna says and it shall come to pass in that day that a remnant of Israel and such as our escape at the house of Jacob shall no more against a upon him that smoke them but shall stay upon the Lord the Holy One of Israel and truth a remnant the remnant shall return even the remnant of Jacob unto the mighty God for tho thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea yet remnant of them shall return the consumption degree decree to overflow with righteousness for the Lord God of hosts shall make a consumption even determine intimate civil and therefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts all my people that whilst in Zion be not afraid of the Assyrian he shall smite be with the rod and shall lift up his staff against the after the matter of Egypt for yet a very little while and the indignation shall cease and my anger in their destruction and the Lord of Hosts shall stir Oscars for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock opera and asses was eponymous see so shall he lifted up a meter of Egypt and it shall come to pass in that day that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder and his yoke from off my neck and they do show me the story because of the anointing this is talking about the end of the 70th week it's probably a dual fulfillment this is talking about the end of the series of serpent and the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood and the earth helped the woman and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth but we know that this is only a remnant why and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant for those who did not flee of her seed which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ so basically what was the same is that a remnant shall be saved why because those are the ones you believe in Jesus Christ now all the number of children of Israel use the sands of the sea a remnant shall be saved because if there's only part of them that will believe in the gospel message can be able to be saved based on Jesus saying I'm the way like no man cometh unto the father but by me verse 29 and as Isaiah said before except the Lord of the Sabbath has had left us the seed or a remnant like the previous Ursa said we invented Sodom and Gomorrah and been made like unto we had been a side of n been made like unto kimura or essentially completely destroyed except God spared some all of them would've been destroyed and in context of the second coming Matthew 2339 jesus said you will not see me kind support until you shall say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord that is the primary reason why Satan tries one last time to pursue the woman into the wilderness and why she is supernaturally protected because during the second half of the week they will totally destroy those who would have the ability to call to enter into a new covenant relationship which is the Jews I call Jesus back you will not see me hun sport until you shall say blessed is he who comes in the
